Turmeric

Curcuma also known as saffron.

Used for various dishes and also for teas as it is an excellent anti-inflammatory.

Tip: Mix some strips of turmeric, sultanas, black pepper, olive oil and rice, bring to the boil, add white wine and water, boil for 10 minutes, cover, turn off the heat, place a thick cloth over the pan and you have excellent rice.
